Engelhart selected by Berliner Stadtwerke for 2026 green energy supply
Berlin, January 2026 – Engelhart Commodities Trading Partners is pleased to announce a new partnership with Berliner Stadtwerke, the municipal energy utility for Berlin and Brandenburg, to support their green energy supply strategy for 2026.
Following the signing of framework agreements earlier this year, Engelhart has successfully secured its first contracts to deliver both Guarantees of Origin (GOs) and baseload power to the utility.
Supporting Berlin’s green transition
Under the new agreement, Engelhart will deliver approximately 214,000 MWh of renewable Guarantees of Origin for 2026. This volume will help certify green electricity for tens of thousands of households and businesses across the Berlin and Brandenburg region.
In addition, Engelhart will provide a baseload power delivery for 2026, further strengthening the region’s energy supply reliability.

The selection of Engelhart follows a highly competitive tender process. The partnership highlights Engelhart’s ability to combine global trading capabilities with a strong regional presence.
